JIM CARROLL ...
THE
ATLANTIC COUNTY
DEMOCRATIC CHAIRMAN
FROM ESSEX COUNTY

Atlantic County Democratic Chairman Jim Carroll blew into Atlantic County from Essex County just a few years ago ...

When the Democrats took control of Galloway Township Council  ... We do know this much ... Jim Carroll became the highest paid Solicitor in the history of Galloway Township. How did this happen? Fred Scerni and many life-long area Democrat attorney's ... Norman Zlotnick, Joe Gindhart and others were all available ...

Yet, somehow Carroll obtained the Council Solictorship ...

Republicans won back the majority in Galloway Township and they immediately replaced Carroll and his high price tag with Mike Blee ... The first year savings were substantial ... As we reported previously in a HarryHurley.com legal cost analysis.

A new political majority swept into power in Egg Harbor City recently ... You guessed it ... Jim Carroll is now the Solicitor there?

A well placed source recently confirmed to HarryHurley.com that Carroll actually tried to "push" former Democratic Chairman Chuck Chiarello out of office before his term ended ... Carroll suggested that Chiarello should step asside early ... For the record, Chiarello went on to finish his term, and, it was Chiarello and not Carroll who managed Joe Kelly's successful campaign for an Atlantic County Freeholder position.

We can't help but wonder ... why has Jim Carroll made his various and questionable political decisions since he became Chairman?

For example ... why has Carroll snubbed - not once - but twice, A life-long true Democrat ... Mayor Lornzo Langford of Atlantic City?

Why did Carroll formally endorse a 50-year Republican, Bob Levy for Mayor, before Levy was even a candidate?

Why did Carroll endorse, support and formally nominate a registered Republican, Scott McKnight for Freeholder?

Why did Carroll nominate so many other life-long Republicans ... i.e., Jim Carney, Alisa Cooper and Ed McGee?

The Essex County Political winds blew Carroll into Atlantic County ... and, the results thus far appear to be that life-long Democrats need not apply for any openings in Atlantic County ...
